New Pony Package

From its earliest days, Mustang has represented affordable performance and style. The product strategy always has been to offer a wide range of models - from base models to GTs to special editions - and make certain there is a Mustang that will meet nearly every budget. So even though the base Mustang might not offer the ultimate performance and speed of the top model, it proudly carries the spirit that has made the car a living legend.

The 2003 Mustang Pony is a special-edition appearance package offered on the V-6 model. The Pony package combines 16-inch, polished-aluminum wheels, unique striping with "Mustang Stampede" graphics, a special rear bumper with blackened "Mustang" lettering, a GT hood and scoop, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel.

Update:  full suspension finalized. With 3.5'' of cleance in the front and 4,25 in the rear this has turned into a much bigger project than i expected because now the car has superior suspenion to even a shelby or roush edition mustangs. I thought it was a mistage buying the new v6 but after doing some research i found that their is a lot of simalarities in the chassis, axle and front LCA. I aslo added the steeda front LCA's with the taller ball joints. I will be installing wilwood 6 piston front and 4 piston rear big brake kit in about 6 weeks. My only debate is upgrading to a twin turbo v6 including internals or swap out the motor and tranny and computer for a stock V8 with some bolt ons or say F*** it and pull the motor  and tranny and replace with nascar templated ford small block with 900 hp fully asperarted.
