1987 Saleen #0197

SUPERCHARGED and NITROUS

      This is a 1987 Saleen #0197. 1 of 280 built that year.

I've added a few extra details to make this one even more special with lots of chrome and polished engine parts. Of course the Nitrous is definitely NOT factory equipped but it was a deal I couldn't pass up. The added Nitrous is used mainly as an aftercooler for the blower. With 510 horsepower to the ground without even using the Nitrous it almost seems silly to have it. The car drives and acts as docile as any stock car until you step into the pedal with anykind of enthusiasm. The SPEC clutch is a bit heavy to push but grabs like no other clutch I've ever felt. If you want to know more about this car, please feel free to e-mail me with your questions.   Thanks for coming and looking at my Saleen.

"With all-American all-star performance like this to lean on, nobody can match your pocketbook with your passion for driving like Saleen Autosport. The equation is simple: If you drive a Saleen mustang, you win. Everything else is just watching." - Steve Saleen.

Hey folks, I was wondering if someone out there with an 88-93 Fox convertible could do me a favor.  I am looking for a picture of the of the ‘A’ pillar post window weather strip showing the weather strip and inside trim molding (the molding on the inside of the pillar post) and another detail picture of where the pillar post molding meets the door seal molding.  I am redoing this and need an example – my car was repaired long before I purchased it and they kind of did a ‘custom’ job on this area.  I want it to be right this time.

Thanks,
