Well decide to start some performance upgrades - so I started with a set of Dart Pro I's and a Ford Motorsport "B" cam, 24# injectors, and a set of 4.10 gears.
After making the changes I found out that the computer HATED the changes I had made, so it was off to the dyno to have a SCT Chip burned and installed. The car ran much better after the dyno tune, but I expected a bit more HP than what the dyno showed (238). So I dumped my piggy bank out to see what was left and there wasn't enough for a supercharger, so for the time being I opted to add some ZOOM to the BOOM and got a Zex wet kit.
Now its back to the dyno to have another slot on the chip burned for the NOS as I am sure the current 14* of base timing is a little bit much to try the bottle.
Got the timing set to 10* base and dropped the plugs one heat range and changed the Zex setup to a 75 shot to start with. Gave it a try and was very impressed with the difference. I will take it to test n tune Tuesday night at the strip and see what kind of times it turns now.
I will keep you updated on the numbers and 1/4 mile times after this is done.
