This is my 1977 Mustang II. I have had it since September of 2005. I purchased for $600 off of one of my family members. I have since invested around too much money into it. It has changed ALOT since I first bought it, it seems every year it has a different theme to it. Although it was a major source of frustration, I still love it, nothing like wasting a weekend doing something you enjoy, something that in the end puts a smile on your face.
As of now: well its been sitting without a heart for awhile, and is getting ready to be put on a rotisserie to undergo COMPLETE restomoding. Future plans are pretty simple
-Strip all trim, body panels, glass, fasteners, etc off.
-Fix damaged front subframe, and radiator support
-Fully seam weld car, front to back, top to bottom.
-Reinforce all structure points with rollcage, SFCs, etc
-Custom fab alluminum dash, aftermarket gauges, etc.
-Remove rear seat, create storage bins
-Reupholster Capri's old seats and use
-Fab custom front and rear bumpers/valences
-Convert to EFI roller 5.0 with T5
-13" front discs
-Coilover suspension
-Late model T-bird IRS
More to come, so stay tuned!!
