Work in progress

This is my baby 1985 5.0 HO GT.  I like the rare cars, the 85 was the last year of the factory V-8 being made with a carb in them.  She's not in the best of shape but she's mine.  For being 21 years old I don't think it looks bad at all.  A work in progress is what I call it.

Currently it has an 89 5.0 engine in it (while we redo the original 85).  It has a Comp Cam equivalent to a FRPP B303, Holley 750 double pumper carb., Chrome flamed aluminum valve covers, and an off road H-pipe.

These are my factory D-holes.  The cars came with them and it took me forever to find a set of 85's. But my B/F found them for me.

This is my favorite saying, a friend on another site had it for his signature and said I could use it.

My B/F decided that it was time that my original torn up seats come out to be reupholestered, so he's letting me use his 89 seats for awhile.

We call this "2 peas in a pod", it's my 85 and his 84.  Both are GT's.  We prefer the four eyed style but love them all.  Both cars are registered with the national GT registry at www.mustanggt.org.

If you'd like to see more pics of both don't hesitate to stop in and join our home away from home www.unitedstangs.com.

CURRENT MODS:

FRPP B303 cam
Aftermarket shorties
Dynomax complete cat-back exhaust system

More pics to come so stop by and sign my guestbook and tell me what you think.

This was my first stang.  She was a simple 86 LX 4 cyl automatic.  I tore the sh*t tranny out of it in no time so we got rid of it.

Sorry for the blur.....My car on the right and an 86 SSP Nebraska State Patrol car that we bought and since have sold to a guy in Texas.

Goodyear Stores and most mechanic's shops will normally be able to mounting and balancing, but you can probably do some moderate driving until you get it done if it doesn't "bounce" too much...just get it done soon.

Big Ten or FireStone should be open.
